Urgent Update: The Ongoing Crisis in Red Sea and Its Devastating Effects on the Shipping Industry

Dear valued customers,

We would like to inform you that due to an ongoing crisis and armed attacks in the Red Sea, there have been serious disruptions to the major shipping routes worldwide. The Suez Canal has been particularly affected and is currently blocked. This situation has significant implications for the global shipping industry, resulting in delays and significantly higher fuel costs for transporting goods.

As a result of these circumstances, several shipping companies have decided to temporarily take an alternative route around the Cape of Good Hope instead of using the Suez Canal. The estimated duration of this detour is approximately 12-15 days plus transit time (T/T). Furthermore, we would like to mention that as a result of equipment shortages, LCL/FCL rates are expected to increase and delays may occur. We understand that this will take additional time and apologize for any inconvenience it may cause.

However, we want to assure you that we are working closely with the affected shipping companies and are committed to obtaining up-to-date information about your shipments. Once we receive official updates, we will inform you separately about the status of your deliveries.

It is our priority to ensure that your business runs smoothly despite these unforeseen challenges. Please do not hesitate to contact our customer service if you have any questions or concerns – they are available at all times.

We thank you for your understanding and patience during this difficult time. We are confident that together we can overcome this situation and will do everything in our power to meet your transportation needs.

Best regards
